This hit something deep in me, bachata really does feel like a confession wrapped in rhythm, every quote you shared carried the ache of truth we don’t always dare to say, as a performer, I’ve felt that too, sometimes the music reveals us more than words ever could, it’s not just sound, it’s memory, surrender, and longing dressed in movement, thank you for this beautiful reminder that music is one of the realest ways we come undone,
Thank you. I wanted to create a piece that was just for women (in a sense). I know they are the ones who will truly appreciate this. Men don't understand the power of words and what it does for women. Beyond that, people who can speak to the heart are so rare... In a sense, this is a gift.
I felt that, and I understand what you meant, I could tell this piece would speak deeply to women, the emotion, the vulnerability, the poetry of it, but I also sensed your openness, the way you invite men into that emotional space too, to feel more, to listen more, and maybe even soften, it really was a gift, and it speaks to what I call emotional grit, the quiet strength to feel deeply and still stand open, you have a rare way with words, thank you for this,
Hi Anton, thank you, I think when something is written from the heart, it naturally finds its way into someone else’s, your words held that kind of energy, and I’m just glad I could reflect a little of it back,
