Thank you, Anton, for this piece.

I love this line : ‘We’re too busy being polite’. That was the ‘old me’. I’ve been on my spiritual journey for 16years and shapeshifted my consciousness and way of living this life, dramatically. I’m not polite.

I’m not ‘nicey-nice’ to make others happy. It’s not my job to make others happy.

I show up present, with compassion for self and others, and with a pocketful of truth.

Answer to the unanswerable question : bathroom door is always left open. Unless guests are over lol

Yes.

Sometimes, the old people pleaser self seems so foreign and far away.

Other times, I can’t escape it, which is infuriating.

Either way, it tells a story worth listening to.
