It's definitely noble to be kind. However, you have to watch it. Some people genuinely do look at you as a mark and will keep on taking. You can tell this pretty early on, though. If I'm kind and they give nothing back, I'm done...until they prove otherwise. Even then, they're far from the top of my list. That has to be earned. The best people will earn it, though and you can be happy knowing that you know how to keep the best people in your life. Great post, Anton.
